The London Office of Tourism Western Australia has received twenty copies of Chefs of the Margaret River Region to give away as prizes and gifts to VIPs and journalists in the UK at various events they are holding over the next few months. We received an email from the London Office saying "I’m sure the books will get a great reaction and they look like a fantastic showcase of Margaret River and its talented chefs." We have also sent two dozen copies to the US. The South West Development Commission has also taken delivery of twenty copies.
Arts Margaret River and Margaret River Press would like to congratulate the following authors whose stories have been shortlisted in the inaugural Margaret River Short Story Competition. There were 191 entries for the competition and the judges were very impressed with the quality of the stories submitted.

Margaret River Press is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Movies in the Vineyard at Cape Mentelle to present a series of armchair conversations focussing the work and writing of people in the region. The conversatons will take place just prior to the commencement of the movies and will last for 15-20 minutes.
Writing WA is the peak body for writing and associated activities in WA. In its January review of books in The West Australian it recommended Chefs of the Margaret River.
