Contribution to Lions Bushfire Appeal

Many of you will recall that Margaret River was devastated with bushfires in December. We were one of the lucky ones, thanks to the dedication of the fire fighters, the fire stopped about five hundred metres from where we live on the corner of Redgate Road and Caves Road. There were many who were less fortunate than us.
Our first publication, Chefs of the Margaret River Region, was released at around the same time as the bush fires and we and the two authors, Sue-Lyn and Lisa made a commitment at the time to contribute part of the profits from our book to the Lions Bushfire Victims Appeal. This week we made our first donation of $500 to the appeal. We thank those who attended our launches and to those who have purchased our books, it is your support that has made it possible for us to make this donation.
